Expressions of Interest

Dr. Scott Blumenthal and Dr. Ashish Diwan are co-editing an ESJ edition dedicated to Cervical Disc Replacements. We are interested in articles related to cervical biomechanics, tribology, clinical outcomes of prospective trials for various indications, registry data analyses, health economics aspects of cTDRs, network analysis etc.

Please submit a 400 word abstract as an expression of interest by December 30, 2018 to Dr. Diwan at – mentioning in the title “ESJ CTDR Issue <short title of proposed paper>“. The Abstract should consist of a title, author list with institutions, research question(s), methods, results, conclusions, 1-2 references and relevant conflicts disclosed. Selected abstracts will be invited for submitting full articles, which will be subjected to a rapid peer review.
